We built it because popular PDF tools either charge a subscription, impose file size limits, or require you to upload sensitive documents to unknown servers. LovelyPDF solves all three problems at once.

Are my files really private?
Yes. All processing happens inside your browser. Your files are never sent to any server — we literally cannot see them.
Is it really free?
Yes, completely free. No account, no subscription, no hidden file size limits.
What happens to my file after I download it?
After 45 seconds, the processed file is automatically deleted from your browser's memory. Nothing is left anywhere.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. LovelyPDF works on any modern browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge — on both desktop and mobile.
Why doesn't compression reduce my file size much?
Browser-based compression cannot re-encode images. It works best on text-heavy or unoptimised PDFs.
Why doesn't PDF to Word preserve my formatting?
This tool extracts text only. Tables, columns, and images are not preserved. For complex layouts, a dedicated desktop tool will give better results.
